New Features
Enhanced Music Generation
We've upgraded to MiniMax Music v1.5, bringing significant improvements:
- Better vocal quality with more natural phrasing and emotion
- Improved instrument separation in the mix
- Faster generation times (now 30-45 seconds average)
- More genre variety including afrobeat, K-pop, and Latin styles
Reference Audio Upload
You can now upload reference tracks to guide the AI! This feature lets you:
- Upload MP3 or WAV files (15+ seconds, max 50MB)
- Match the style and vibe of existing music
- Create variations of tracks you love
- Maintain consistency across multiple generations
Pro tip: Use reference audio when you want a specific production style or sonic palette!
PostHog Analytics Integration
We've integrated PostHog to better understand how you use SUMO:
- Track generation success rates
- Measure feature adoption
- Identify and fix pain points faster
- A/B test new features for better UX
